These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the apps (the “Apps”) and this website provided by Studyforge Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17563947), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“Studyforge Labs”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using an App or this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Licence to use our Apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our Apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. If you got an App from the App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
2. Purchases and subscriptions
- Prices are shown in the App Store, Google Play or on this website before you buy, in your local currency and including any applicable taxes.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- If an App offers a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Purchases made through Apple or Google are billed and processed by them under their terms.
3. Educational content
Our exam preparation Apps are independent study aids. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any exam board, licensing authority or professional body, and all trademarks belong to their owners. We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free, or that using our Apps will lead to any particular exam result. Always check official sources for current exam requirements.
4. Acceptable use
You must not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute our Apps or their content, or use them in any way that is unlawful or that interferes with their operation.
5. Intellectual property
The Apps, their content (including questions, explanations, illustrations and design) and this website are owned by or licensed to Studyforge Labs and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue Apps or features from time to time. We will not remove features you have paid for without good reason, and where required by law we will offer an appropriate remedy.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and these Terms do not affect those rights. Subject to this, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant App or purchase in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
