This Privacy Policy explains how Studyforge Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17563947), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“Studyforge Labs”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use our mobile and desktop apps (the “Apps”) and this website. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

## The short version

- Our Apps are designed to work offline and do not require an account.
- Your study progress, settings and app data are stored on your own device, not on our servers.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Payments in our Apps are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.

## Information our Apps handle

**Data stored on your device.** Progress, answers, bookmarks, settings and similar data are saved locally on your device. If you use iCloud or a device backup, that data may be included in your own backup under your Apple or Google account. We cannot access it.

**Purchases.** In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We receive transaction confirmations and aggregated, non-identifying sales and usage reports from them, which we use to provide access to what you bought and to understand how our Apps perform.

**Store analytics.** Apple and Google may share anonymised, aggregated statistics with us (for example, numbers of downloads or crashes) if you have agreed to share such data with app developers in your device settings.

**App-specific disclosures.** If a particular App uses any additional service that processes personal information, this is described in that App’s privacy details on the App Store or Google Play and within the App.

## Information we collect when you contact us or use this website

- **Support emails:** if you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the request.
- **Website visits:** our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the website secure and running. This website does not use advertising cookies.
- **Direct purchases:** if we sell anything directly on this website, payment is processed by Stripe, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, billing country and purchase details to deliver your order and meet our legal and tax obligations.

## Legal bases

We process personal information to perform a contract with you (providing what you bought and support), for our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving our Apps and website), and to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting records).

## Children’s privacy

Some of our Apps are made for young children. These Apps are designed not to collect personal information from children, do not ask children for contact details and place purchases and external links behind a parental gate. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

## How long we keep information

We keep support emails for up to 24 months after a request is resolved, and purchase records for as long as the law requires (usually six years for UK tax and accounting purposes). Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App.

## Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business (such as our website host, email provider and payment processor), when required by law, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

## Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email [support@studyforgelabs.com](mailto:support@studyforgelabs.com). You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk).

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
